“Soothing Ravishing Waterfalls”

“I used to watch the ravishing waterfalls of my mind all by myself. Enthralled in the riveting darkness that clogged my mornings. When it stopped serving as some tragic entertainment, a pill to soothe seemingly lonesome and thoroughgoing thoughts, I’d take.

It was a day like any other or no other. Sylvia and I’s deranged chuckles hidden under cover of night.

“Girl, what you know about this!” she said, pulling out a familiar pill from her own bottle.

It came out like a joke, but I held it like a present. I knew then, Sylvia too saw the waterfalls.”
